SUMMER CLUB 2026 Ir-Razzett tal-Qasam – Manikata
We are delighted to announce the return of our Summer Club at Ir-Razzett tal-Qasam, where children can enjoy a unique summer experience in the Maltese countryside through outdoor learning, nature exploration and hands-on activities.
Set in the beautiful rural surroundings of Manikata, our Summer Club offers children the opportunity to learn, play and explore nature while taking part in a variety of engaging activities including animal care, crafts, outdoor games and educational workshops.
This year the Summer Club will run three days a week for ten weeks, allowing us to concentrate the programme on our most popular days while maintaining a high-quality experience for every child.
SUMMER CLUB SCHEDULE
Summer Club 2026 will run from Tuesday 30th June until Thursday 10th September.
Sessions take place on:
Tuesdays • Wednesdays • Thursdays
Please note that the Summer Club will be closed from 10th to 14th August.
DAILY HOURS
Summer Club sessions run from:
8:30am – 1:00pm
For the convenience of parents we also offer:
• Early drop-off from 8:00am • Late pick-up until 1:30pm
Transport: We do not provide transport.
LSEs: Children who usually have a one-to-one LSE or a shared LSE at school are required to have an individual LSE with them during Summer Club. Please note that we do not provide LSE services, but if parents can provide an LSE we will be happy to welcome the child.
AGE GROUPS
Children are divided into two groups so that activities can be adapted to their age and interests.
Ages 4–6 Ages 7–10
Each group follows a separate programme designed for their age group.
To ensure quality supervision and a meaningful experience for every child, places are limited to 15 children per group per day.
PROGRAMME – AGES 4–6
Our younger group follows a programme centred on exploration, creativity and play in nature.
Activities include:
• Animal feeding and farm interaction • Nature walks and countryside exploration • Crafts and creative activities • Outdoor games and group activities • Gardening and nature-based learning • Storytelling and imaginative play • Water play
Weekly Music Lessons
Every Tuesday, children take part in music sessions organised by Strum and Drum School of Music. These interactive lessons introduce children to rhythm, sound and musical expression through fun and engaging activities.
PROGRAMME – AGES 7–10
The programme for older children combines outdoor adventure, practical skills and educational activities designed to stimulate curiosity, creativity and teamwork.

Archery Lessons
Every Thursday, children take part in an archery sessions organised by Malta Archery, where they learn the fundamentals of archery in a safe and supervised environment.
Archaeology Workshops
During the month of August, children participate in archaeology workshops held on Wednesdays, organised by Archaeology Services Co-operative Ltd, introducing them to archaeological discoveries, ancient crafts and Malta’s rural heritage.
A TYPICAL DAY AT SUMMER CLUB
Each day begins with animal feeding, allowing children to interact with and care for the animals while learning about life on a small farm.
The rest of the morning includes a variety of outdoor exploration, creative activities and group games. Children spend most of their time outdoors, learning through hands-on experiences in the natural surroundings of Ir-Razzett tal-Qasam.
Depending on the day and age group, the programme may include music sessions, archery lessons, archaeology workshops, crafts, nature walks, cooking activities or team challenges.
Our aim is to provide a balanced morning of learning, movement and creativity, encouraging children to develop confidence, curiosity and respect for nature.
WHAT CHILDREN SHOULD BRING
Children should bring:
• A hat and sun protection • A refillable water bottle • A healthy snack and lunch • Comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities • Closed shoes suitable for walking and playing outdoors
As many activities take place outside, children should come prepared to explore nature and take part in hands-on experiences.
FEES
Summer Club fees are as follows:
3 days per week: €520 2 days per week: €380 1 day per week: €190
